#styling with SBNY – The French Classics

Parisienne sense of fashion has always been mixing classics with on-trend styles. The ‘French-Girl style’ is so intriguing among the Americans that they have always fawned over their wardrobe choices. I have come across innumerable magazine articles on how to ‘dress like a French Girl’ that seemingly look effortless while living in the US. This is the charm of a French girl style —it’s classic and chic, but there’s an element of je ne sais quoi that makes getting dressed more of an art than a routine.

With my favorite season setting in, I wanted to play around the color tones that set right with nature’s mood. Samira Buchi New York’s Olina in Red seemed like a right ingredient to toy with.

Look 1: Straight off the Spring’19 runway collection, this patchwork jacket from Etro is such a stunner. It is that statement element to be teamed with classics denim like that of Slverlake. It’s cut is that of a cropped raw hem that adds the grungy feel. Amp up that crop with timeless Bally mules and round-frame metal sunglasses. Samira Buchi New York’s Olina tote swiftly merges with the entire structure of outfit.

Look 2: Made out of a mix of virgin wool and cotton, this Giambattista Valli mini dress is a flawless embodiment to welcome the flavors of the fall season. A pointy toe Stuart Weitzman boots and cat-eye sunglasses enhance the look of this phenomenal dress. Throw in Samira Buchi New York’s Olina and you are ready for a perfect date lunch!
